The walking locations around Handcross are fantastic, providing plenty of variety and enrichment. A special mention also has to go to Mulberry, who has become Neo’s wonderful companion. Mulberry is my nearly 40kg NewfyPoo. You might have seen her in the village. She is the Founder of my walking group, Mulberry’s Mates. I adore dogs and love spending time with them. Finally ditching my corporate job, I am now able to give everyone’s doggies all the love and attention they deserve. I am insured, reliable and conscientious. I also like to keep them safe. My walks are on-lead only, and if appropriate, I might walk them with my dog, Mulberry or give them their space for a solo walk. Alternatively, if you have multiple dogs in your home, I am comfortable walking two at a time on-lead for all walks. I live in Handcross and keep my walks local.
In addition to caring for your pets, I also enjoy hand-drawing pet portraits in colour pencil. Feel free to have a peek at some of my previous commissions in the gallery of my website. I also offer Mulberry’s Mates a discount when ordering a pet portrait. By quoting “MulberrysMates” at the point of enquiry, I will apply a 10% fur-endship discount to the price as a thank you.
I am happy to book one-off walks, regular weekly walks or even settle them in to be comfortable in my home (with Mulberry) as your doggy daycare. If you need help whilst you’re on holiday or away for work, I do offer dog sitting/ dog boarding of your dog in my home. The only proviso for stay-overs is your dog MUST get on with my dog, Mulberry. It’s only be the two of them, so to ensure compatibility, I ask for an unpaid “meet and greet” dog walk just to ensure both dogs (and owners) are happy. Essentially, I want to provide a service specific to you and your pet. I’ll tailor what I offer with your guidance to ensure your fur-baby is as happy as they can be without you. This allows you to confidently enjoy your time away knowing your fur-baby is being well cared for by me, an animal-loving, dedicated professional.

Below are my standard dog services. If you require anything specific, different to below, please do ask as I try to incorporate everyone’s needs. If your dog/cat/pet requires feeding, I do ask you to provide their food along with instructions for mealtimes (timing, amount etc)

One-on-One on lead Dog walk (upto one hour) - from £30

Pup-Dates, Kitty Catch-ups and Social Media Snaps
Whenever your pet is in my care, I like to keep you informed. Regular pup-dates will give you insights to our activities so you don’t have to worry and can relax. Or if I’m popping in to feed and fuss your feline family, I’ll snap and share a photo of your fur baby mid-stretch. I do, of course, have some clients who prefer not to have this service, as it makes them miss their furbaby. It’s absolutely your choice, and I’m happy to adhere to your preference. I also post some of these photos on my social media unless you specifically ask me not to.
I am fortunate to have built a trustworthy local network of other independent dog walker friends, whom I can recommend (and can coordinate) to cover me if I don’t have availability. I strongly believe in being organised and would prefer to inconvenience myself rather than let you down.
