Nixie - the beautiful black cat

Nixie’s grandpaw-rents surprised their daughter, Sarah with a commissioned hand-drawn pet portrait for Christmas. I actually went to school with both their daughters, Sarah and Chloe!

This beautiful cat has the shinest and most luxurious, deep fur - an artist’s dream kalaedescope of colours deep within her black coat.

I was super lucky to be able to hand deliver Nixie’s portrait to Richard and Jan jsut before Christmas. This meant I was able to see how pleased they were with their commissioned gift!

Nixie’s 10”x8” portrait is drawn with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.
