Rottweiler - Pippi

Pippi lives in Denmark and her humans commissioned her pet portrait to celebrate her being a magnificent part of their family. The drawing is 14”x11”, which is by far the largest I’ve drawn but the scale really suits the breed. By being large, it’s impactful and suggests her strength and solidity. Yet it also gives the impression of her being delicate and definitely a pretty girl.

Pippi was an absolute pleasure to draw. I love how she’s turned out and the end result has instilled a confidence in my drawings.
